Care instructions:

Washing

1. Dry Cleaning :
   • The safest and most recommended method for cleaning printed satin silk. Professional dry cleaners are equipped to handle delicate fabrics and printed designs, preserving the quality of the fabric and print.
2. Hand Wash:
   • Use cool or lukewarm water (never hot, as it can cause fabric to shrink or lose its luster). Use a specific detergent or a mild, gentle detergent free of harsh chemicals. Avoid laundry detergents with bleach or fabric softeners, as they can damage fabric and affect the print
3. Washing Machine :
   • If possible, refrain from using a washing machine. The agitation can cause the satin silk to lose its shine, distort the shape, or damage the print. If machine washing is necessary, place the garment in a mesh laundry bag to minimize the risk of friction and wear, and wash on the gentlest cycle with cold water.
4. Water Temperature:

• • Always wash in cold water to preserve the fabric natural fibers and prevent fading. 

Drying

1. Never Wring:
   • Do not wring or twist the garment to remove excess water. Doing so can damage the fibers, cause creases, and distort the shape of the garment.
2. Pressing Out Excess Water:
   •  Lay the garment flat on a clean, dry towel and gently press to absorb excess moisture. Be careful not to stretch the fabric.
   • Lay the garment flat to dry on a clean, dry surface or hang it up on a padded hanger. Avoid hanging it in direct sunlight or near heat sources (like radiators), as the heat can cause the fabric to lose its luster or fade the print.

Ironing

1. Low Heat with Care:
   • If the garment has wrinkles, use the lowest heat setting on your iron . It's advisable to iron while the fabric is still slightly damp. Always place a pressing cloth between the iron and the silk to avoid direct contact, which can burn the fabric.
2. Steaming:
   •  Alternatively, use a steam iron or a garment steamer to remove wrinkles. This method is gentler on the fabric and will help preserve the sheen without direct contact with the heated surface.
     

Storage

1. Avoid Sunlight:
   • Store your satin silk garment away from direct sunlight, as UV rays can cause the fabric to fade and lose its vibrant colors.
2. Breathable Storage:
   • Hang your silk garment on a padded hanger to help maintain its shape. For extra protection, use a breathable garment bag to shield the fabric from dust and dirt.
